Jun 18, 2009 i have infoPath forms in the doc library in sharePoint server 2007.i need to access it programatically and convert in to pdf format and store it in another Document library. - Open the IP form you created.
- Copy the form.
- Paste the form into a new word document.

I have to make some assumptions here as the question does not go into much detail. I assume you want to automate the conversion from InfoPath to MS-Word whenever a new form is saved in a Document or Form Library, which is a common requirement as it makes it easier to distribute the file to people who don't have InfoPath installed or who don't have access to the underlying XSN file.
How To Convert Infopath Form To Excel
There are a number of approaches you can take, the most obvious ones are:
- Create an Event Receiver in C# / vb.net that reads the data out of the XML file and programmatically merge this data into an MS-Word template using Microsoft's free OpenXML libraries.
- Use a third party tool for converting InfoPath to MS-Word, Excel or PDF. See this example. (Disclaimer, I wrote this post so consider me biased)

To get some acquaintance of the application, you can see Figure1 which shows the main window form of InfoPath to PDF Converter. The buttons “Add files”, “Add folder”, “Remove files”, “Clear files” are used to add or remove InfoPath files in or out of the file list which locates in the middle of the window form. So to convert InfoPath to PDF document, there must be MS Office installed in your system and you should check the 'Use MS Office for conversion' option box. For making the conversion more convenient, you can check any check box below the option boxes. In 'Convert to' combo box, the output format should be chosen as '.PDF'. Then please click 'OK' to close this window and continue the conversion.
The next step is to click the 'Convert to Any and Save As' button in the main interface of InfoPath to PDF Converter to open 'Browse for folder' window where the location of the converted PDF document can be specified to some folder.
